“I have known Gary Davison for several years. I watched him invest in his faculty and staff. I watched him equip the parents of his students. He is a leader worth following and a mentor worth listening to. I have used Gary’s stories in two of the books I have written as illustrations of innovation and practicality. I recommend him to educational leaders anywhere.”

-Dr. Tim Elmore, Founder & CEO, Growing Leaders

“Finding your niche is a goal each of us has as we live and work daily. Dr. Gary Davison most certainly has found his…growing and mentoring leaders who already excel, into first-rate influencers. The Davison Leadership Model is second to none as evidenced by the more than 20 assistant principals, teachers, and county officials he has molded into highly successful and respected principals. I lead with confidence, creativity, and knowledge as a direct result of this innovative thinker.” —--Mr. Tom Bass, Principal, Dunwoody High School

“Dr. Gary Davison is a gifted and talented educator who tirelessly works to help teachers and other school leaders develop their leadership skills. One example I observed firsthand is utilizing the coaching process. Whether a first-year educator or veteran, he knows the coaching process benefits all. Dr. Davison has also encouraged and supported my efforts to develop the leadership skills of teachers aspiring to become school leaders by providing the resources and time collaborating with me to develop a curriculum for the program. Dr. Davison’s extensive experience and results should be obvious to anyone who knows anything about the academic and athletic prowess of Lambert High School.”

-Dr. Russ Chesser, retired Principal, Pelham City High School

“Dr. Davison has the unique ability to take you on a journey where you refine your strengths and embed reflection so deeply in your work that it becomes not only how you lead, but how you improve as a leader. His coaching is custom tailored to each individual - both for where they are in their leadership development AND for how ready they are to improve their practice. Working with Dr. Davison has not only shown me the type of leader I want to be, but with his help, I continue to refine the skills needed to become that leader for my school.”

-Dr. Ashley Johnessee, Principal, Haw Creek Elementary School

“Gary Davison is hands down the best principal I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I was able to serve with him on leadership teams both at the elementary and high school levels. HE is able to create a common set of beliefs that connects everyone in other school community. One of my favorite things about working with Dr. Davison is that he always uses positive feedback to guide us toward where we need to be. H works with us to design clearly defined individual professional goals and helps us determine how to reach those goals. He has a unique talent of making every single member of a school community feel valued and respected.”

-Mrs. Jennie Sheley King, Administrator, South Carolina, 3x Teacher of the Year

Dr. Gary Davison has served the Forsyth County School System as a successful principal at multiple schools. While he has left his mark on each of them, his true legacy is the group of leaders that he developed during his time here. At one point, I can recall sitting in a meeting where four of the five high school principals in the room (including him) all had learned by working for Gary. As our system has grown, so has his “tree of leaders.” We have elementary, middle, and high school principals that have worked and learned directly under him and are now leading their own schools very effectively.”

“As one of his former assistant principals, I carry with me the lessons learned from him. He nudged each of us working for him to reflect on our core values. He helped us to develop a vision for our own success. Ultimately, he trusted us to ownelements of school improvement where our visions could be cast, and our core values tested. The results for each one of us that matriculated to the next level of leadership were that we had real experiences that let us know who we truly were, what we valued most, and on how to bring others to fulfill a vision for success.”

-Mr. Mitch Young, Deputy Superintendent, Forsyth County Schools

“I have had the privilege of Dr. Davioson’s mentorship and coaching for over 15 years. His focus on the benefits of a relationship-centered approach to the work, recognizing and nurturing the talents of each person in the organization, yields results that can be felt in the climate of the organization and seen in the achievements of students and employees.”

-Mrs. Pam Bibik, Principal, Riverwatch Middle School,
